The career of a polar pilot is not long. In 1993, Petrov retired, but he did not part with the sky or the North. This harsh land attracted him too much. Yuri Pavlovich also has a dream – to revive small polar aviation. Petrov united like-minded friends around him and began work on the reconstruction of the famous "corn plant" – An-2. This unpretentious machine flew in high latitudes for many years and proved to be excellent. The return of An-2 may be a solution to the problem of small aviation in the Arctic.
