The Taimyr Peninsula, Cape Chelyuskin, Taimyr and Vivi lakes, the Severnaya Zemlya archipelago, Franz Josef Land, Novaya Zemlya, the Graham Bell Islands, Alexandra, Hayes, Rudolf Lands are just a small part of the routes of the honored polar pilot Yuri Petrov. The career of a polar pilot is not long. In 1993, Petrov retired, but he did not part with the sky or the North. This harsh land attracted him too much. Yuri Pavlovich also has a dream – to revive small polar aviation. Petrov united like-minded friends around him and began work on the reconstruction of the famous "corn plant" – An-2. This unpretentious machine flew in high latitudes for many years and proved to be excellent. The return of An-2 may be a solution to the problem of small aviation in the Arctic.

Dozens of children from all over Russia come to Lopshen'ga village on the shore of the White Sea every summer. Here, in a place that can only be reached by an old AN-2, a real paradise for children with games by the sea, forest walks and the care of their beloved grandmothers. The world of children's fantasy is intertwined with the realities of the north – what will our heroes remember this summer for?
Every other day they dismantle their tents and move on to another place. There is no other way, because the reindeer need new pastures. Many generations of Nenets have lived this way. But civilization has come to the tundra as well: young people increasingly prefer cities and towns to traditional camps. Showing a team of Yamal reindeer herders, the film tells us about the changes in their way of life, about the new technologies they use in their work, and that among the educated young Nenets from the capital of the region there are very few people willing to come to tundra: new prospects are opening up for them.
They are like a big happy family. They fight, rest, bake bread, and remember the "civilian life" together. And they hope that their efforts will also bring victory closer. This is the "BARS-2" battalion, and volunteers from the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) fightin it. They were trained at the "Botur" center and then left for the special military operation. The film tells about the center and about the front-line life of its graduates - shelling enemy positions with mortars, coordinating actions with other units, operating FPV drones, and why residents of far-away Yakutia decided to go fight in Ukraine.
